LEARNING OBJECTIVES
KAMAKHYA TEMPLE: Study about the current structure that has been built during the Atom times,with remnants of the earlier Koch temple that is been carefully preserved.
NOHKALIKAI: Learning about natural resources, flora and fauna.Nohkalikai waterfalls are one of the highest waterfalls in India. A nature lover’s paradise, the Nohkalikai Falls are the 5th highest beautiful scenic waterfall. The water roaring, gushing down from a height of 1115 ft, the falls are a majestic sight.
MAWASMAI CAVES: Understand about natural resources. Caving is an art and made of limestone. The emotion of thrill heightens as you enter the cave. Dripping of water from the cave roofs and the formation of stalactites and stalagmites, wonderful phenomena specially found in limestone caves. The legend the Mawsmai Caves were discovered by the Khasi tribesmen while they were out for hunting. Initially the caves housed several animals which were later hunted down by the tribe.
UMIAM LAKE: Learn more about Water Preserving, Effective use of natural Resources. a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills.
DONBOSCO MUSEUM: Learn about art and architecture, history and culture. Don Bosco Center for Indigenous Cultures or DBCIC is an exclusive endeavor by the Silesians. The architecture and structure of the building is unique and reaches up to seven floors from the ground. The construction is in the shape of honeycomb which allows ample fresh air and light to pass through and generates. The center exhibits about different cultures, history, language, religion, trade, technology, weapons and music etc. Traditional Technology Gallery and Weapons Gallery.
STATE ZOO CUM BOTANICAL GARDEN: Understanding about Sculptures and Assam region. The exquisitely landscaped Gardens was established in 1982. A home to diverse species of herbs, palms, shrubs and conifers, it spreads over an area of 85 hectares.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations are effective on the date written intimation is received by the Tour In-charge / School Office. Cancellation will not be received orally or over the phone. Refund if any will be settled within 21 days of the arrival of the Tour.

2) 20 days to 24 days prior to departure date: 40% of the tour cost will be non-refundable
3) 15 days to 19 days prior to departure date: 50% of the tour cost will be non-refundable
