DAY 1 : BANGALORE- LEH

Departure to Leh by Morning flight. ARRIVAL LEH (ALT: 11500 / 3505 M) – ACCLIMATIZATION / ORIENTATION. Arrival Leh Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport one of the world highest operated airport in the world at 3500 mtr above sea level . On a clear day from one side of the aircraft one can see the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft is the Nun Kun in Zanskar valley, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it.

 

On arrival at Leh, transfer to Hotel. Check in at hotel and relax & adapt with Leh weather & altitude.

 

Take full day rest & gear up for upcoming journeys, Evening free for SHOPPING. After dinner night stay at Leh.

DAY 2 : LEH

HEMIS NATIONAL PARK: Post breakfast, we will drive to Zingchen from Leh. Take a quick break at ZINGCHEN and get ready to trek to RUMBAK. Through gradual ascends, we will make our way up to RUMBAK. While trekking to Rumbak, we will also continue to look for the Snow Leopard. Our guides will help you understand the signs. .

 

After dinner night stay at Leh.

DAY 3 : - LEH- KHARDONGLA - NUBRA VALLEY

LEH- KHARDONGLA - NUBRA VALLEY. After breakfast leave for NUBRA VALLEY, popularly known as Dorma or 'the valley of flowers' driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft.), highest motorable pass in the world.

Nubra Valley lies between the Karakoram & Ladakh ranges at an average altitude of 10,000 ft. Till closure of the trans Karakoram trade route by the Chinese in 1949, Nubra Valley was a busy trade corridor on the Central Asian trade route. Reach Deskit / Hunder in the afternoon and explore the area and the white Sand Dunes where you can also take a short camel Safari on the double-humped Bactrian camel found here & Atv ride. . After dinner night stay at Nubra Valley.

DAY 4 – NUBRA VALLEY – SHAYOK- PANGONG-Leh


NUBRA VALLEY – SHAYOK- PANGONG-Leh. After breakfast, explore Deskit (headquarters of Nubra valley) and then drive up the hillside to visit the 15 th century Deskit Monastery dramatically located on a rock promontory overlooking the valley.

You can visit the gigantic image of MAITREYA BUDDHA (32 mtrs) seated out on a hillock which was installed in 2010. Later drive towards PANGONG VIA SHAYOK, reaching in the afternoon. PANGONG LAKE (alt:14,500ft.), largest brackish water lake of Asia, is 4-5kms wide and about 135kms long of which about two-third portion lies on the other side of the Indo-China border.

 After dinner night stay at Leh.

 

DAY 5: LEH -SHAM VALLEY

 

LEH - EXCURSION TO SHAM VALLEY After breakfast, drive towards western part of Ladakh along the Indus river on Leh – Srinagar highway. And start sightseeing with HALL OF FAME (Museum founded by India Army) near Leh, it is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to GURUDWARA PATTHAR SAHIB founded in 15th century, Nestled deep in the Himalayas, drive ahead another 5 km for MAGNETIC HILL which defies the law of gravity & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reached the Confluence Of The Indus And ZANSKAR RIVER (Rafting will be done). After visiting above places we drive back to Leh enroute visiting SPITUK MONASTERY, Built in 11th century during the region of Gragspa ‘Bum-lde, the monastery use to follow Kadampa school of Buddhism until 15th century where Gelukpa school of buddhism was started and still in practice with Gelukpa order. 

 

After dinner night stay at Leh.

DAY 6: LEH - BANGALORE 

 

Morning after freshen up transfer Leh Airport to take your return flights to Bangalore.[ Via Delhi] Breakfast will be provided on board

The Tour Cost Includes: Local Transportation by private AC Coach, Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks Dinner (Veg/Non Veg), Morning and Evening light snacks, Guide Charges, State Taxes, Sightseeing, General Entrance Fees as per the Program, Stay at hotels four sharing basis Experienced tour manager from Crazy Holidays throughout the trip

 The Tour cost does not include:Airfare Pick and Drop from school to airport, Any Expenses of Personal Nature (like still camera or video camera, porter charges, Laundry expenses, phone calls, food/beverages not included in the package, usages of mini bar in the hotel), Sightseeing or Activities which are not mentioned in the package.

1. As this is NOT THE FINAL ITINERARY at the time of confirmation, kindly ask the marketing executive to check the availability of all the services as specified in this itinerary i.e., (TRAIN/FLIGHT/COACHES/HOTELS/ENTRY TO MONUMENTS, FARMS, RESORTS ETC) based on the period of travel and to submit the FINAL ITINERARY.

As the availability and pricing keeps on changing for flights/train dynamically we request your good self to make sure to collect the full amount of train fare and 25% of the airfare within 24 hours as soon as a trip is confirmed from the students which is nonrefundable and handover the same amount to Crazy Holidays marketing executive so that we can go ahead with the booking of flight/train on immediate hours.

 

  • The above package is for a group of minimum 40 students
  • Validity of the quote will be only for 20 days from the date to receiving the quotation
  • The given rates will not be valid during major holidays like Diwali, Dusserah, Christmas, New Year & Long weekends etc.
  • This is just a quotation, as of now we are not holding any booking. Hotel, transportation and other services are subject to availability at the time of actual booking.

SPECIAL NOTE

In the event of flight booking or train booking it is advisable not to wait more than 24 hours for booking flight or train as there is dynamic change in the pricing and no provisions are available for blocking tickets. So I request your good self to kindly forward the name list of the students and teachers travelling along with a non- refundable advance of Rs. 250/- per head for packages where train booking is applicable and Rs. 6000/- per head for packages where flight tickets to be booked.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations are effective on the date written intimation is received by the Tour In charge / School Office. Cancellation will not be received orally or over the phone. Refund if any will be settled within 21 days of the arrival of the Tour.

1) 25 days or more prior to departure date: 25% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

2) 20 days to 24 days prior to departure date: 40% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

3) 15 days to 19 days prior to departure date: 50% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

4) 10 days to 14 days prior to departure date: 75% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

5) 9 days or lesser prior to departure date: 100% of tour cost will be non-refundable

*In case of flight journey, Air ticket amount will be non-refundable (100% cancellation charges) once the tickets booked

POSTPONEMENT POLICY:

If due to any reason the group tour is postponed to the next/forthcoming vacation, an additional postponement charges over and above the tour cost will be applicable

CHECK IN/OUT POLICY: 

Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same. For guaranteed early check in or late checkout, the hotel(s) should be booked at the time of package booking by paying additional amount charged by the hotel.
