VIKRAM SARABHAI SPACE MUSEUM: VSSC is engaged in the development of Sounding Rockets, Launch Vehicles, Spacecraft Subsystems and other Space related fundamental research activities. Study different aspect of the ISRO program from timeline and technologies. A visit to the historical center will make you feel proved about the achievements of our scientists and people.
KOVALAM BEACH: Explore & enjoy the beautiful beach and learn about the role in promoting tourism. The main attractions are the curve shaped beach with stone outcroppings and light house. It has a large group of numerous shops offering many services, like food, clothing, gems etc. Learn the diversity of different culture. You can also see the local fishermen do their daily work on the beach and how tourism changes the lifestyle of fisherman.
VELI TOURIST VILLAGE: Study the important role plays in promoting tourism in the State.
Veli tourist village is a popular picnic destination. It consists of a large garden on the southern banks of Veli lagoon. A floating bridge connects this garden to the Veli beach. This picnic destination offers a wide range of attractions such as play areas for children, various boat rides in Veli lake,horse rides, a floating restaurant, a long walkway connecting to Aakulam lake. The main attraction is stone and grass sculptures by Kanayi Kunhiraman.
