LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

JANTAR MANTAR:The JantarMantar in Jaipur is considered to be the largest of the five astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and study about the history of jantarmantar. We can see fourteen geometric devices, designed to measure time, track celestial bodies and observe the orbits of the planets around the sun.

HAWA MAHAL: Understand Rajput style of architecture, the use of Jharokhas is a unique feature in this construction, which provides with much air and light inside the building. Study about the history of KingSawaiPratap Singh. The five-storied structure is made of pink sandstone and has 953 intricately carved jharokhas (windows). It was designed for the women of the royal family to sit in privacy while observing life on the street

CENTRAL MUSEUM: We can know about the Indo-Sarcenic architecture. The museum has a rich collection of artifacts including paintings, carpets, ivory; stone, metal sculptures, and works in crystal.

AMBER FORT: Amber Fort is the best tourist attraction of Jaipur and the sprawling complex combines both immense fortifications with unexpected beauty and charm. Amer Fort is known for its artistic Hindu style elements. With its large ramparts and series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks Maota Lake. We can study about the architecture and the history of the fort.

JAISALMER FORT: We can see the architecture of ruler Rajput rawal. We can see people living in the fort and can know their culture and history.

SAND DUNES: We can understand about the desert and the nature changes. The Sand Dunes make for one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state of Rajasthan. One can only see vast stretches of sand shining in the Golden sun and which is an extra ordinary look.  The swift blowing wind and the sand changing colors are the experiences one can have in a desert.         

UMAID BHAVAN: Understand the Beaux Arts style and a blend of eastern and western architectural styles, it is an iconic structure built for Maharaja Umaid Singh, and is the last of its kind. It's preserved and renovated by Taj Hotels. It is said to have been built to provide employment to the farmers who were unemployed due to the draught.

JASWANTH THADA: We can know about the architecture of maharaja Sardar sing and history of the Thada. It is now being used as the cremation ground of the royal families of Jodhpur.
