MIDDLE SCHOOL: Goa is known as the tourist paradise for its natural scenery, unique beaches and cultural diversity, how has this helped to expand existing tourism to ensure employment generation and economic growth from your observation from the trip?

HIGH SCHOOL: The Portuguese have been a huge influence on goa’s unique culture and lifestyle, what is your view on this? Explain with relevant examples from your observation from the trip?

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:

MIRAMAR BEACH: Study on the marine life, Sustainable Tourism and how tourism has helped the local community and the modernization in the lives of fishermen. It is the place of confluence of the Mandovi River with Arabian Sea. It is very peaceful on this beach and the view of the Aguada Fort from the beach is a beautiful sight. This Beach is famous for Nature Lovers, Fun Lovers and Adventure Seekers.

AGUADA FORT: Learn about the History of Portuguese and their military architecture. The Fort is built of durable lateritic stone &natural terrain in order to make it more difficult for its walls to be breached. A fresh water spring in the fort was a source of water for the ships that passes by. The fort with a large capacity of storage space and the light house were the most prized buildings of the Portuguese in Goa."Agua" in Portuguese means water, thus the fort derived its name "Aguada" to denote a place where water is accumulated.

BASALICA OF BOM JESUS: Study about the Jesuit architecture and Historical Monuments of Goa. The imposing facade built out of black granite is an exquisite combination of the Doric, Corinthian and composite styles.  It is remarkable for its simplicity and elegance. The mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier are preserved here. Learn which Architectural Style is used (Baroque architecture)

SUN DOWN CRUISE: Experience the leisure cruise along the Mandovi River. While the boat sails down the river, local boys and girls perform folk dances and sing mandos, their performance is followed up by a live band.

BAGA BEACH & CALANGUTE BEACH: Understand the processes and factors responsible for distinctive landforms in the stretch of coastline, assessing how sustainable and different methods of coastal protection are possible in this region. The most visited beach in Goa. Study how the tourism industry has affected the environmental, employment, local communities and local economies

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations are effective on the date written intimation is received by the Tour In charge / School Office. Cancellation will not be received orally or over the phone. Refund if any will be settled within 21 days of the arrival of the Tour.

1) 25 days or more prior to departure date: 25% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

2) 20 days to 24 days prior to departure date: 40% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

3) 15 days to 19 days prior to departure date: 50% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

4) 10 days to 14 days prior to departure date: 75% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

5) 9 days or lesser prior to departure date: 100% of the tour cost will be non-refundable
