  • Activity: “Decode a Story in Stone” -At Belur Temple, students will observe the intricate stone carvings that depict stories from mythology, daily life, and ancient traditions. Each student will choose one carving that interests them and sketch it in their notebook. Below the sketch, they will write a brief interpretation explaining what the carving represents, which story or deity it might be connected to, and what it reveals about the beliefs or lifestyles of that time. This activity enhances historical understanding and connects art with storytelling, all using just a notebook, pen, and pencil.

3:45 PM - Visit Yagachi Dam (ENJOY WATER SPORTS @ OWN EXPENSE  )

  • Activity: “Splash & Learn”- Students participate in exciting water sports at Yagachi Dam, promoting physical activity and team spirit in a safe, supervised environment.

At the falls, they’ll write a short reflection connecting their observations to the local landscape or legends—building awareness of how nature shapes culture and thought.

They will sketch a simple flowchart of the process and write 3–4 lines on how coffee impacts local livelihoods and global markets—linking real-world industry to social science and economics topics.

This activity supports curriculum topics related to landform formation, human-environment interaction, and natural resource preservation.

  • Learning Focus: Application of human anatomy to real-world medical and health contexts (Biology, Health Science).
  • Activity: “Anatomy in Real Life” - Students choose any one organ displayed in the museum and research or reflect on a real-life disease or medical condition related to it (e.g., lungs → asthma). In their notebook, they will briefly describe the condition, its symptoms, and one way it affects the body system. This encourages deeper understanding of human health and connects textbook knowledge with real-world medical awareness.

DAY 04: KARWAR- BANGALORE

Learning Focus: Geography of coastal regions, human impact on marine ecosystems, and the importance of sustainability in protecting our environment.

Activity: "Eco-Warrior Beach Cleanup & Sustainability Circle"- Students participate in a guided beach cleanup drive, collecting litter while learning about ocean pollution and the role of individual action.  Followed by a Sorting & Recycling Demonstration, where students categorize collected waste and understand the basics of recycling.  End with a short "Sustainability Circle" discussion, where students share ecofriendly habits, they can adopt in daily life. Each student receives an Eco-Warrior certificate for their participation.

They note down its function and sketch how its design serves its purpose. In their notebook, they write a brief analysis on how warship technology supports national defense. This enhances understanding of defense infrastructure, engineering principles, and civic awareness.

This blends field observation with theoretical geography and builds descriptive and analytical writing skills.

Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same.
