Introduction to the Program

This experiential learning program is crafted to immerse students in real-world environments, natural ecosystems, and culturally significant landmarks across Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Students learn through participation, observation, storytelling, and reflection—bridging the classroom with the world outside.

Objective

To introduce young learners to environmental awareness, regional culture, team collaboration, and self-reflection through hands-on experiences across beaches, hills, temples, and historical sites.

  • Learning Focus: Geography of coastal regions, human impact on marine ecosystems, and the importance of sustainability in protecting our environment.
  • Activity: "Eco-Warrior Beach Cleanup & Sustainability Circle"- Students participate in a guided beach cleanup drive, collecting litter while learning about ocean pollution and the role of individual action. o Followed by a Sorting & Recycling Demonstration, where students categorize collected waste and understand the basics of recycling. o End with a short "Sustainability Circle" discussion, where students share ecofriendly habits, they can adopt in daily life. Each student receives an Eco-Warrior certificate for their participation.
  • What to Carry: Notebook, pencil/pen.

05:00 PM: Visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple -Heritage Walk with Storytelling

  • Learning Focus: Discover temple architecture and stories from Kerala’s traditions.
  • Activity: “Temple Tales & Sketch” – Students listen to the legends of the temple and sketch one element (like a carving or structure) they liked most.
  • What to Carry: Modest clothing, notebook, pen/pencil.

  • Activity: “Sunrise Wonder Moments” – Students draw or write about what they felt watching the sunrise and what they think causes it.
  • What to Carry: Light jacket, cap, water bottle, notebook, pencil.

02:00 PM: Boat Ride to Vivekananda Rock Memorial

  • What to Carry: Notebook, pen/pencil, ID for boat, cap, water bottle.

  • Activity: “Craft Detective” – Students interview a local shopkeeper with teacher guidance and write 3 facts about one craft item.

Day 4: Trivandrum – Bangalore

8:00 AM: Cruise Through Poovar Backwaters

  • Learning Focus: Explore the calm backwaters and mangroves.
  • Activity: “Backwater Bingo” – Students receive a picture-based bingo sheet (birds, boats, palm trees, etc.) and check off as they spot each item during the ride.
  • What to Carry: Notebook, pencil, cap, water bottle.

11:30 AM: Checkout & Lunch

01:00 PM: Visit to Napier Museum

  • Learning Focus: See old artifacts and how people lived long ago.
  • Activity: “Museum Treasure Hunt” – Students complete a worksheet identifying 3 interesting artifacts and writing what they think they were used for.
  • What to Carry: Notebook, pen/pencil, camera (optional), water bottle.

4:00 PM: Report to Trivandrum Airport & Check in Formalities

7:00 PM: Departure to Bangalore by Flight

8:05 PM: Arrival at Bangalore International Airport
As night descends, the plane gracefully lands at Bangalore International Airport, ushering in a world of enchantment and new beginnings.

Step 1: Once you finalize the itinerary and travel dates of your choice, please contact our executive to confirm availability.

Step 2: After availability is confirmed and approved by the school, a payment circular will be forwarded. Optional facility an online presentation will be conducted for parents.

Step 3: Once the list of registered students is finalized, Crazy Holidays will schedule the pre-departure meeting with the school.

Step 4: During the pre-departure meeting, complete awareness about the tour will be provided to both students and parents, including project specifications, what to carry and details about the “Track My Tour” feature.

To ensure a secure and informative experience for parents, we are offering the "Track My Tour" facility, which allows parents to view photos, videos, and live bus tracking of your children during the trip.

NB: Please note that we will only take group photographs, which will be verified by our backend team before uploading and could be viewed only by school & parents by using a secure code. A copy of the group photographs will also be shared with the school as a memento.

THE TOUR COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:  The above package doesn`t include Any expense of personal nature (like professional still camera or video camera, porter charges, laundry expenses, phone calls, water sports, food and beverage not included in the package, usages of mini bar in the hotel), Sightseeing or Activities and Other Facilities not mentioned in “INCLUSIONS”.

1. As this is NOT THE FINAL ITINERARY at the time of confirmation, kindly ask the marketing executive to check the availability of all the services as specified in this itinerary i.e., (TRAIN/FLIGHT/COACHES/HOTELS/ENTRY TO MONUMENTS, FARMS, RESORTS ETC) based on the period of travel and to submit the FINAL ITINERARY.

2. As the availability and pricing keeps on changing for flights/train dynamically we request your good self to make sure to collect the full amount of train fare and 25% of the airfare within 24 hours as soon as a trip is confirmed from the students which is nonrefundable and handover the same amount to Crazy Holidays marketing executive so that we can go ahead with the booking of flight/train on immediate hours.

CHECK IN/OUT POLICY: 

Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same. For guaranteed early check in or late checkout, the hotel(s) should be booked at the time of package booking by paying additional amount charged by the hotel.
