DAY 01: BANGALORE – GUWAHATI – SHILLONG

Departure to Guwahati by Morning Flight
As the first light of day breaks, students eagerly gather at Bangalore Airport, their hearts pounding with excitement for the journey ahead. They board the morning flight to Guwahati, where the adventure truly begins.

High above the clouds, the students enjoy a delightful breakfast, fueling their anticipation as they gaze out at the endless horizon.

Arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport
The plane touches down in Guwahati, where the group is welcomed by the refreshing air of Assam, signaling the start of their Northeastern escapade.

Transfer to Shillong by private coach and on the way visit Umiam Lake
A scenic drive takes the students through winding roads, leading them to the breathtaking Umiam Lake. They are mesmerized by the shimmering waters of the Barapani Lake, a sight that perfectly captures the natural beauty of Meghalaya.

11:00 AM: Snacks will be provided
As the group pauses by the lake, they are treated to a light snack, a moment to savor the serenity before continuing their journey.

12:00 PM: Visit Umiam Lake

04:15 PM: Proceed to Visit - Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park and Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians
The exploration begins with a visit to Ward's Lake, where the students take in the beauty of the lake surrounded by blooming flowers. Next, they delve into the rich cultural heritage at the Don Bosco Museum, followed by a peaceful stroll through Lady Hydari Park. The day concludes at the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, where the students find a moment of quiet reflection.

07:30 PM: Dinner followed by Debriefing and Briefing for the Next Day

DAY 02: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG – SHILLONG

06:00 AM: Wake Up and Freshen Up
The students wake to the crisp mountain air, ready to embark on another day of exploration and discovery.

07:00 AM: Early Breakfast
A nourishing breakfast is served, providing the energy needed for the exciting day ahead.

08:00 AM: Journey to Mawlynnong Village
The group sets off for Mawlynnong, a journey that takes them deeper into the heart of Meghalaya. The anticipation builds as they approach the famed village.

11:00 AM: Visit Mawlynnong
Known as the cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnong’s pristine environment captivates the students. They wander through the village, marveling at the spotless streets, vibrant gardens, and the harmonious way of life that the villagers maintain.

11:10 AM: Snacks will be provided
A light snack break gives the students a chance to relax and absorb the tranquil atmosphere.

12:30 PM: Lunch
Lunch is enjoyed in the heart of the village, surrounded by the natural beauty that defines Mawlynnong.

02:00 PM: Proceed to visit Dawki Village & Tamabil
The journey continues to Dawki Village, where the students are enchanted by the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. They enjoy a serene boat ride, the transparent water revealing the riverbed beneath them, creating an almost surreal experience.

04:00 PM: Snacks will be provided

08:30 PM: Dinner followed by Debriefing and Briefing for the Next Day
Dinner is served, followed by a briefing where the group discusses the highlights of the day and prepares for the journey to Cherrapunjee.

DAY 03: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE

06:00 AM: Wake Up and Freshen Up
The students wake up excited for the day’s journey to the wettest place on Earth.

07:00 AM: Early Breakfast
Breakfast is served early, preparing the group for a day of exploration in Cherrapunjee.

08:00 AM: Proceed to Cherrapunjee by private coach & Enroute visit Shillong Peak & Elephant Falls
The group begins their journey to Cherrapunjee, stopping first at Shillong Peak, where they are treated to panoramic views of Meghalaya. Next, they visit the majestic Elephant Falls, where the students marvel at the cascading waters set against lush greenery.

11:00 AM: Snacks will be provided
A quick snack break energizes the group for the next part of the journey.

12:00 PM: Lunch followed by Check-In at Hotel
Arriving in Cherrapunjee, the students enjoy a hearty lunch before checking into their hotel, ready for an afternoon of adventure.

01:30 PM: Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Eco Park
The afternoon is filled with visits to some of Cherrapunjee’s most iconic sites. The students are awed by the thunderous Nohkalikai Falls, the highest plunge waterfall in India, followed by the Seven Sisters Falls, which offers a spectacular view of the seven streams cascading down the cliffs. The day continues at Eco Park, where the group enjoys the lush greenery and stunning views.

03:30 PM: Proceed to Visit Mawsmai Caves
The adventure continues with a visit to Mawsmai Caves, where the students explore the fascinating limestone formations. The well-lit caves allow them to fully appreciate the natural wonders around them.

DAY 04: CHERRAPUNJEE

A nutritious breakfast is served, providing the energy needed for the day’s trek.

08:30 AM: Trekking in Nongriat Village
The group embarks on a challenging but rewarding trek to Nongriat Village. Along the way, they descend over 3,000 stairs, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views, before reaching the awe-inspiring Double Decker Living Root Bridge.

11:30 AM: Snacks & Juice
A well-deserved snack and juice break is provided, offering a moment to rest and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

01:30 PM: Lunch
The group enjoys a packed lunch amidst the natural beauty of Nongriat, recharging before the trek back.

DAY 05: CHERRAPUNJEE – GUWAHATI

The students wake up early, ready to say goodbye to Cherrapunjee and continue their adventure in Guwahati.

07:30 AM: Breakfast
A final breakfast in Cherrapunjee sets the tone for the day’s journey.

08:00 AM: Check-Out and Proceed to Guwahati
The group checks out of their hotel and begins the scenic drive back to Guwahati, reflecting on their incredible experiences in Meghalaya.

A snack and juice break provide a refreshing pause during the journey.

12:30 PM: Lunch followed by Check-In at Hotel

02:30 PM: Visit Assam State Museum, War Memorial, Mahabahu Brahmaputra River Heritage Centre
The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the cultural and historical treasures of Guwahati. The students visit the Assam State Museum, where they learn about the region’s rich history, followed by the War Memorial, honoring the bravery of the soldiers. The day concludes with a visit to the Mahabahu Brahmaputra River Heritage Centre, offering stunning views of the mighty Brahmaputra River.

04:30 PM: Evening River Cruise on the Brahmaputra

DAY 06: GUWAHATI – BANGALORE

Report at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport
The group checks out of their hotel and heads to the airport, ready to return home with stories to share.

Departure to Bangalore by Scheduled Flight
As the plane takes off, the students look out at the landscapes they’ve explored, cherishing the memories of their time in the Northeast.

Arrival at Kempegowda International Airport
The plane lands in Bangalore, where the students reunite with their families, bringing home tales of adventure, discovery, and unforgettable experiences.

The Tour Cost Includes: Transfers by Exclusive A/c or Non A/c vehicle for transfers & sightseeing.  The Tour cost does not include: Air fare, Any Expenses of Personal Nature, Laundry Expenses and sightseeing or Activities not mentioned in the package. Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.Anything which is not included in the inclusion.

SPECIAL NOTE

In the event of flight booking or train booking it is advisable not to wait more than 24 hours for booking flight or train as there is dynamic change in the pricing and no provisions are available for blocking tickets. So I request your good self to kindly forward the name list of the students and teachers travelling along with a non refundable advance of Rs. 250/- per head for packages where train booking is applicable and Rs. 3000/- per head for packages where flight tickets to be booked

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations are effective on the date written intimation is received by the Tour In charge / School Office. Cancellation will not be received orally or over the phone. Refund if any will be settled within 21 days of the arrival of the Tour.

1) 25 days or more prior to departure date: 25% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

2)20 days to 24 days prior to departure date: 40% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

3)15 days to 19 days prior to departure date: 50% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

4)10 days to 14 days prior to departure date: 75% of the tour cost will be non-refundable

5)9 days or lesser prior to departure date: 100% of tour cost will be non-refundable

*In case of flight journey, Air ticket amount will be non-refundable (100% cancellation charges) once the tickets booked

POSTPONEMENT POLICY:

If due to any reason the group tour is postponed to the next/forthcoming vacation, an additional postponement charges over and above the tour cost will be applicable

CHECK IN/OUT POLICY: 

Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkoutwill be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same. For guaranteed early check in or late check out, the hotel(s) should be booked at the time of package booking by paying additional amount charged by the hotel.
