INTRODUCTION TO THE PROGRAM: This experiential learning program offers students a unique opportunity to explore the sugar manufacturing process at Mandya Sugar Limited. Through guided industrial tours, interactive activities, and reflections, students connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications, fostering curiosity, teamwork, and critical thinking.

OBJECTIVE: To offer students hands-on exposure to the industrial sugar production process while encouraging observation, critical thinking, and collaborative learning through guided tours and activities.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME: This program offers an exclusive educational tour of Mandya Sugar Limited, where students will learn the stages of sugar processing—from raw cane intake to refined sugar packaging. The experience is further enhanced through a quiz competition and interactive reflection sessions to solidify the learning outcomes.

DETAILED PROGRAM ITINERARY:

07:00 AM – Departure from School: Departure from School/College (after having breakfast at home).

10:30 AM – Arrival at Mandya Sugar Limited

10:40 AM – Guided Industrial Tour with Resource Person

• Learning Focus- Process understanding, sequencing, observation skills.
• Activity: Students observe and sketch the sugar production process from sugarcane to refined sugar.
• What to Carry: Notebook & pencil/pen.

12:00 PM – Quiz Competition and Prize Distribution: Exciting quiz competition to test knowledge gained, followed by prize distribution to celebrate winners and participants alike.

12:15 PM – Serving Snacks: Snacks served to refresh and energize students during the break.

12:30 PM – Departure to SCHOOL/COLLEGE: After a fun-filled and educational day, students head back to school.

04:30 PM – Arrival at SCHOOL/COLLEGE: Return with joyful memories, a head full of knowledge, and stories to tell.

PROGRAMME REGULATIONS:

• Grade Eligibility: 5th to 12th
• Max Students per Day: 100 (50 students per batch)
• Batch Duration: 60 minutes per group of 50

Step 1: Submit booking request letter 3 months prior to preferred date
Step 2: Finalize program and send a formal request on school letterhead (format will be shared)
Step 3: Upon industry approval, finalize the date and program with confirmation

STEP 2: After availability is confirmed and approved by the school, a payment circular will be forwarded Along with the track my tour details.

STEP 3: Once the list of registered students is finalized will be sharing a revised final itinerary for the programmes.

STEP 4: Sharing required documents for the programme & collecting from the school tour coordinator {in school letter head}.

To ensure a secure and informative experience for the parents, we offer "Track My Tour" facility, which allows the parents to view photos, videos and live bus tracking of their children during the trip.

NB: Please note that we will only take group photographs, which will be verified by our backend team before uploading and could be viewed only by school & parents by using a secure code. A copy of the group photographs will also be shared with the school as a memento.
