INTRODUCTION TO THE PROGRAM: This experiential learning programme offers students a unique opportunity to engage directly with rural life, local traditions, and sustainable farming practices. Designed to go beyond the classroom, it encourages teamwork, cultural appreciation, and a deep understanding of community and nature.

OBJECTIVE: The objective of the program is to foster real-world learning through active participation, instill values of empathy, teamwork, and respect for rural lifestyles, promote an understanding of sustainable agriculture and cultural heritage, and bridge classroom learning with practical exposure.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME: This is a full-day rural immersion trip designed for students to explore farming, rural lifestyles, and cultural richness through interactive experiences in the village of Mylapura. Carefully curated activities offer students exposure to agriculture, history, community stories, and local traditions.

DETAILED PROGRAM ITINERARY:

06:00 AM – Departure from School: Students begin their journey from school to the rural village of Mylapura.

07:15 AM – Buffet Breakfast @ Pakkashala Hosakote: A healthy and energizing breakfast is provided at a well-known restaurant.

08:15 AM – Arrival at Chikkanalla Government School, Mylapura: The group arrives at the village school for the day’s immersive learning activities.

08:30 AM – Interaction with Govt. School Students & Talent Hunt: A cultural exchange session where students interact, perform, and build friendships.

09:15 AM – Traditional Cultural Performances by Village Community: Local villagers showcase folk dances, music, and traditions for students.

10:00 AM – Send whole group for Cow milking: Students will collectively participate in a hands-on cow milking session

10:00 AM – Farming Activities & Explaining the Cultivation process  :-

  • Group 1: Beans Planting & Farm Visit: Hands-on farming session on bean cultivation and understanding crop care.
  • Group 2: Chilly Harvesting & Farm Visit: Learn the harvesting process and explore chilly farms with local farmers.
  • Group 3: Mango Farm Visit: A guided tour through a mango orchard with insights into seasonal farming.
  • Group 4: Local Temple Visit & History Session: Explore local heritage with a storytelling session on temple history.

10:45 AM – Juice and Snacks Provided: A refreshing break with local snacks and drinks for all participants.

11:00 AM- Shuffle Groups for Rotational Experience: Groups switch activities so each student experiences all sessions.

11:45 AM – Local House Visit & Storytelling Session: Students visit village homes and hear stories about rural life and traditions.

12:30 PM – Departure to School: The group concludes the rural visit and begins the return journey.

01:00 PM – Lunch Provided En Route: Packed or en-route lunch is served during the return trip.

02:45 PM – Arrival at School: Students arrive back at school, concluding the experiential learning trip.

To ensure a secure and informative experience for the parents, we offer "Track My Tour" facility, which allows the parents to view photos, videos and live bus tracking of their children during the trip.

NB: Please note that we will only take group photographs, which will be verified by our backend team before uploading and could be viewed only by school & parents by using a secure code. A copy of the group photographs will also be shared with the school as a memento.
