From the moment students board the train to the mist-covered viewpoints of Yercaud, every experience becomes part of a larger journey of inquiry. Lakes reveal the science of buoyancy, forests showcase biodiversity, and panoramic viewpoints inspire an appreciation for geography, history, and conservation.
DAY 1 – FROM RAILWAYS TO ROLLING HILLS
05:00 AM – Report at Bangalore City Railway Station
“Every expedition begins with anticipation and the promise of discovery.”
Students assemble at the railway station, ready to begin an educational journey where every mile unfolds a new perspective.
06:00 AM – Departure from Bangalore City Railway Station
The train journey introduces students to the changing landscapes of South India.
07:30 AM – Breakfast on Board
A wholesome breakfast served during the train journey.
10:30 AM – Arrival at Salem Railway Station
“At the foothills of the mountains, the adventure takes a new direction.”
Students arrive in Salem, the gateway to the scenic Shevaroy Hills.
10:45 AM – Transfer to Yercaud by Private AC Coach (35 km | 1.5 Hours)

The ascent to Yercaud offers spectacular views and a firsthand experience of mountain geography.

CHECK IN/OUT POLICY:
Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same. For guaranteed early check in or late checkout, the hotel(s) should be booked at the time of package booking by paying additional amount charged by the hotel.
