This immersive journey takes students from the classrooms of Bangalore into the vibrant wilderness of Dandeli, Karnataka. Through nature walks, cave explorations, and adventure activities, students will experience real-world applications of science, geography, and environmental studies—while building teamwork, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning.

About the Programme

Set in the eco-rich terrain of Dandeli, this 4-day journey blends adventure, science, and reflection. Students will explore limestone caves, experience team-building activities, observe biodiversity during safaris, and learn about hydroelectric power systems—integrating academic learning with life skills and sustainability awareness.

DAY 1: BANGALORE TO DANDELI

11:00 PM: Departure from School

11:30 PM: Overnight journey

Day 2: BANGALORE – DANDELI

07:00 AM: Arrival at Dandeli

07:30 AM: Arrival and check in at hotel/resort/ cam sight (early check in subject to availability) and freshen up.

08:00 AM: Buffet Breakfast

09:30 AM: Visit to Senthil Rock & Kavala Caves

  • Learning Focus: Explore unique rock formations and limestone caves, understanding geological processes and bat ecosystems.
  • Activity: “Cave Detectives” – Students sketch cave formations and note temperature, humidity, and any signs of cave-dwelling species.
  • What to Carry: Notebook, pen/pencil, flashlight (optional), water bottle.

  • Activity: “Adventure Log” – Students maintain a log reflecting on each activity (kayaking, ziplining, etc.), what they learned about balance, teamwork, and self-confidence.
  • What to Carry: Notebook, pen/pencil, towel, swimwear/change of clothes, cap, sunscreen, water bottle.

Day 3: DANDELI- BANGALORE

06:00 AM: Nature Walk & Bird Watching OR Jeep Safari with theme: Managing Fragile Ecosystems

  • Learning Focus: Observing flora and fauna to understand food chains and biodiversity in a protected ecosystem.
  • Activity: “Wildlife Trail Map” – Students track and draw observed species, sounds, and signs (like nests or tracks) during the walk/safari.
  • What to Carry: Notebook, pen/pencil, binoculars (optional), cap, water bottle.

  • Learning Focus: Discover how dams help in water management and hydroelectric power and learn about valley formations.
  • Activity: “Water Wonders” Sketch Pad – Students draw Sykes Point or Supa Dam and write about how nature and engineering coexist.

Day 4: - BANGALORE

As the city skyline reappears, students return with eyes wide from wonder, journals filled with stories of discovery, and hearts connected through shared adventures in the wild. What began as a journey became a memory-making expedition that sparked curiosity, friendship, and the joy of learning beyond the classroom.

Step 1: Once you finalize the itinerary and travel dates of your choice, please contact our executive to confirm availability.

Step 2: After availability is confirmed and approved by the school, a payment circular will be forwarded. Optional facility an online presentation will be conducted for parents.

Step 3: Once the list of registered students is finalized, Crazy Holidays will schedule the pre-departure meeting with the school.

Step 4: During the pre-departure meeting, complete awareness about the tour will be provided to both students and parents, including project specifications, what to carry and details about the “Track My Tour” feature.

To ensure a secure and informative experience for parents, we are offering the "Track My Tour" facility, which allows parents to view photos, videos, and live bus tracking of your children during the trip.

NB: Please note that we will only take group photographs, which will be verified by our backend team before uploading and could be viewed only by school & parents by using a secure code. A copy of the group photographs will also be shared with the school as a memento.

THE TOUR COST INCLUDES: The above package is inclusive of Transport Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and  Dinner, Guide Charges, Sightseeing, State Taxes, General Entrance Fee as per the Programme, Stay at hotels on sharing basis, Use of Resort Facilities and Service of Our Tour Managers.

THE TOUR COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:  The above package doesn`t include Any expense of personal nature (like professional still camera or video camera, porter charges, laundry expenses, phone calls, water sports, food and beverage not included in the package, usages of mini bar in the hotel), Sightseeing or Activities and Other Facilities not mentioned in “INCLUSIONS”.

1. As this is NOT THE FINAL ITINERARY at the time of confirmation, kindly ask the marketing executive to check the availability of all the services as specified in this itinerary i.e., (TRAIN/FLIGHT/COACHES/HOTELS/ENTRY TO MONUMENTS, FARMS, RESORTS ETC) based on the period of travel and to submit the FINAL ITINERARY.

2. As the availability and pricing keeps on changing for flights/train dynamically we request your good self to make sure to collect the full amount of train fare and 25% of the airfare within 24 hours as soon as a trip is confirmed from the students which is nonrefundable and handover the same amount to Crazy Holidays marketing executive so that we can go ahead with the booking of flight/train on immediate hours.

CHECK IN/OUT POLICY: 

Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same. For guaranteed early check in or late checkout, the hotel(s) should be booked at the time of package booking by paying additional amount charged by the hotel.
