INTRODUCTION TO THE PROGRAM: Step into the future while reconnecting with the past! This exciting three-day experiential journey from Bangalore to Sriharikota and Chennai is a transformative blend of space science, cultural heritage, architecture, and artistic traditions. From visiting the prestigious Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR) to exploring DakshinaChitra and Mahabalipuram, students experience a rare combination of STEM learning and human history, designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

OBJECTIVE: This program is designed to expose students to India’s premier space research centre while fostering a passion for science and technology, deepening their understanding of South India’s cultural and architectural heritage, building essential 21st-century skills through hands-on learning, and encouraging reflection on the connection between scientific progress and cultural identity.

WHY IT MATTERS: This program enables students to go beyond textbooks and witness how India shapes the future of space technology while celebrating its deep-rooted past. ABOUT THE PROGRAMME: A 3-day journey starting from Bangalore, this programme takes students to Sriharikota's SHAR centre, followed by cultural immersion in DakshinaChitra and a visit to Mahabalipuram's ancient monuments. Students participate in group reflections, hands-on art and design activities, and gain insight into ISRO’s achievements, along with South India’s artistic legacy.

DAY 1: BANGALORE – SRIHARIKOTA

12:00 PM – Departure from BANGALORE to CHENNAI by Private Coach

DAY 02: SRIHARIKOTA

07:00 AM – Arrival & check in at the Hotel [ Standard check in time is 12 Noon, Early check in is subject to availability]

08:30 AM – Departure to SRIHARIKOTA. [Subject permission from SHAR center]

  • Learning focus: Vocabulary building, attention to detail.
  • Activity: “Space Word Hunt”- Students find and tick off space-themed words (e.g., satellite, galaxy, orbit) from a list as they explore.
  • What to carry: Notebook and pen/pencil

12:00 AM – Explore the SATISH DHAWAN SPACE CENTRE

  • A senior scientist will be accompanying the team to the museum,

  • Activity: Students become “History Detectives” on a fun riddle-based hunt across monuments like Krishna’s Butterball and Shore Temple, uncovering stories hidden in stone.

Step 2: After availability is confirmed and approved by the school, a payment circular will be forwarded. Optional facility an online presentation will be conducted for parents.

Step 3: Once the list of registered students is finalized, Crazy Holidays will schedule the pre-departure meeting with the school.

Step 4: During the pre-departure meeting, complete awareness about the tour will be provided to both students and parents, including project specifications, what to carry and details about the “Track My Tour” feature.

To ensure a secure and informative experience for parents, we are offering the "Track My Tour" facility, which allows parents to view photos, videos, and live bus tracking of your children during the trip.

NB: Please note that we will only take group photographs, which will be verified by our backend team before uploading and could be viewed only by school & parents by using a secure code. A copy of the group photographs will also be shared with the school as a memento.

1. As the availability and pricing keeps on changing for flights/train dynamically we request your good self to make sure to collect the full amount of train fare and 25% of the airfare within 24 hours as soon as a trip is confirmed from the students which is nonrefundable and handover the same amount to Crazy Holidays marketing executive so that we can go ahead with the booking of flight/train on immediate hours.

CHECK IN/OUT POLICY: 

Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same. For guaranteed early check in or late checkout, the hotel(s) should be booked at the time of package booking by paying additional amount charged by the hotel.
