INTRODUCTION TO THE PROGRAM: This is a unique two-day, action-packed learning journey from Bangalore to Kozhikode and Thusharagiri designed to promote experiential education. Through science exploration, ecological involvement, nature interaction, and creativity, students engage with real-world challenges and learning beyond the classroom.

OBJECTIVE: To empower students with immersive learning experiences that blend academics with life skills, promote environmental responsibility, spark curiosity in science, and foster teamwork and communication.

WHY IT MATTERS: Classroom learning, while essential, is greatly enhanced by stepping into real-world scenarios. This programme connects theoretical knowledge with practical exposure — inspiring action, reflection, and growth.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME: This two-day excursion introduces students to the world of applied science, sustainability, biodiversity, and adventure. They will visit regional science centers, participate in beach cleaning, explore waterfalls, and engage in biodiversity studies — all while working collaboratively in teams.

DAY 1: BANGALORE - KOZHIKODE

03:30 PM – Arrival REGIONAL SCIENCE CENTR

  • Learning Focus: Hands-on fun with motion, light, and sound exhibits to spark curiosity and observation.
  • Activity: “Science in Action”- Students explore interactive science exhibits through a hands-on challenge trail—completing fun tasks like creating shadows, balancing objects, or exploring motion-based games to discover how science works in everyday life.
  • What to Carry: Sketchbook, pencil, eraser.

05:00 PM – Snacks & Juice

03:00 PM – Visit CALICUT BEACH AND BEACH CLEANING ACTIVITIES

  • Learning Focus: Geography of coastal regions, human impact on marine ecosystems, and the importance of sustainability in protecting our environment.
  • Activity: "Eco-Warrior Beach Cleanup & Sustainability Circle"- Students participate in a guided beach cleanup drive, collecting litter while learning about ocean pollution and the role of individual action. o Followed by a Sorting & Recycling Demonstration, where students categorize collected waste and understand the basics of recycling. At the End with a short "Sustainability Circle" discussion, where students share ecofriendly habits, they can adopt in daily life. Each student receives an Eco-Warrior certificate for their participation.

06:30 PM – Back to resort and fresh up

07:30 PM – Buffet Dinner followed by Debriefing and briefing for the next day

09:30 PM – Overnight stay at CALICUT

DAY 2: KOZHIKODE / THUSHARAGIRI / VANAPARVAM/ BANGALORE

10:00 AM – Trekking @ Thusharagiri & Visit THUSHARAGIRI WATERFALLS

  • Learning Focus: Water Management, Public Speaking, Advocacy.
  • Activity: “Leaf & Bug Hunt”- Students explore the park with a checklist, identifying leaves, insects, birds, or animal tracks.
  • What to Carry: Notebook/sketchbook, colors/markers.

02:30 PM – Departure to Bangalore

06:30 PM – Arrival at School

Students return with smiles, stories, and a sense of achievement. A short closing circle allows them to share highlights and reflect on key learnings. Teachers may collect quick feedback, while parents welcome back young explorers who return more confident, aware, and inspired.

Step 2: After availability is confirmed and approved by the school, a payment circular will be forwarded. Optional facility an online presentation will be conducted for parents.

Step 3: Once the list of registered students is finalized, Crazy Holidays will schedule the pre-departure meeting with the school.

Step 4: During the pre-departure meeting, complete awareness about the tour will be provided to both students and parents, including project specifications, what to carry and details about the “Track My Tour” feature.

To ensure a secure and informative experience for parents, we are offering the "Track My Tour" facility, which allows parents to view photos, videos, and live bus tracking of your children during the trip.

NB: Please note that we will only take group photographs, which will be verified by our backend team before uploading and could be viewed only by school & parents by using a secure code. A copy of the group photographs will also be shared with the school as a memento.

THE TOUR COST INCLUDES: The above package is inclusive of Transport Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and  Dinner, Guide Charges, Sightseeing, State Taxes, General Entrance Fee as per the Programme, Stay at hotels on sharing basis, Use of Resort Facilities and Service of Our Tour Managers.

THE TOUR COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:  The above package doesn`t include Any expense of personal nature (like professional still camera or video camera, porter charges, laundry expenses, phone calls, water sports, food and beverage not included in the package, usages of mini bar in the hotel), Sightseeing or Activities and Other Facilities not mentioned in “INCLUSIONS”.

1. As this is NOT THE FINAL ITINERARY at the time of confirmation, kindly ask the marketing executive to check the availability of all the services as specified in this itinerary i.e., (TRAIN/FLIGHT/COACHES/HOTELS/ENTRY TO MONUMENTS, FARMS, RESORTS ETC) based on the period of travel and to submit the FINAL ITINERARY.

2. As the availability and pricing keeps on changing for flights/train dynamically we request your good self to make sure to collect the full amount of train fare and 25% of the airfare within 24 hours as soon as a trip is confirmed from the students which is nonrefundable and handover the same amount to Crazy Holidays marketing executive so that we can go ahead with the booking of flight/train on immediate hours.

CHECK IN/OUT POLICY: 

Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same. For guaranteed early check in or late checkout, the hotel(s) should be booked at the time of package booking by paying additional amount charged by the hotel.
