This program offers students a unique opportunity to step outside the classroom and immerse themselves in the rich natural and cultural environment of the Nilgiri Hills. About the Programme

Set amidst the cool hills of Ooty and Coonoor, this journey allows students to interact with diverse ecosystems, explore regional history, and experience teambuilding activities. DAY 1: BANGALORE – OOTY

01:30 PM: Buffet lunch followed by Check-in

03:30 PM: Proceed to Doddabetta & Tea factory

  • Learning focus: Geography and climate zones.
  • Activity: “Altitude Explorers”- Ask students to guess how altitude affects temperature, air pressure, and vegetation.
  • What to carry: Notebook, pen/pencil

04:30 PM: Snacks & Juice

07:30 PM: Campfire (Subjected to the weather condition & availability)

  • Activity: music, dance, and fun games around the campfire.

08:30 PM: Buffet Dinner followed by Debriefing session and Briefing for the next day

DAY 2: OOTY

06:00 AM: Get ready for the day

07:30 AM : Buffet breakfast  and get set for sightseeing

09:00 AM: Proceed to local sightseeing

  • Activity: Explore the vibrant blooms at the Botanical Garden, reflect by the serene waters of Ooty Lake, and uncover history through lifelike figures at the Wax Museum with observation, sketching, and storytelling activities.

02:00 PM: Departure from Ooty to Coonor

03:05 PM: Enjoy Coonor Sightseeing

  • Activity: Enjoy Coonoor Sightseeing with a guided nature walk through Sim's Park, where students identify exotic plants, sketch unique flora, and reflect on the biodiversity of this enchanting botanical garden.

03:30 PM: Visit Simspark

Learning focus: Observation, plant classification, global biodiversity.

  • Activity: “Plant Passport”- Students "adopt" a plant or tree, sketch it, note its name, origin (if labeled), and describe its features.
  • What to carry: Notebook, pen/pencil

04:45 PM: Enjoy shopping

06:00 PM: Snacks & Juice and Return to hotel

06:45 PM: Arrive at the hotel and freshen up

08:00 PM: Buffet Dinner followed by debriefing session and briefing session

DAY 3: OOTY – BANGALORE

Step 2: After availability is confirmed and approved by the school, a payment circular will be forwarded. Optional facility An online presentation will be conducted for parents.

Step 3: Once the list of registered students is finalized, Crazy Holidays will schedule the pre-departure meeting with the school.

Step 4: During the pre-departure meeting, complete awareness about the tour will be provided to both students and parents, including project specifications, what to carry and details about the “Track My Tour” feature.

To ensure a secure and informative experience for parents, we are offering the "Track My Tour" facility, which allows parents to view photos, videos, and live bus tracking of your children during the trip.

NB: Please note that we will only take group photographs, which will be verified by our backend team before uploading and could be viewed only by school & parents by using a secure code. A copy of the group photographs will also be shared with the school as a memento.

THE TOUR COST INCLUDES: The above package is inclusive of Transport Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and  Dinner, Guide Charges, Sightseeing, State Taxes, General Entrance Fee as per the Programme, Stay at hotels on sharing basis, Use of Resort Facilities and Service of Our Tour Managers.

THE TOUR COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:  The above package doesn`t include Any expense of personal nature (like professional still camera or video camera, porter charges, laundry expenses, phone calls, water sports, food and beverage not included in the package, usages of mini bar in the hotel), Sightseeing or Activities and Other Facilities not mentioned in “INCLUSIONS”.

1. As this is NOT THE FINAL ITINERARY at the time of confirmation, kindly ask the marketing executive to check the availability of all the services as specified in this itinerary i.e., (TRAIN/FLIGHT/COACHES/HOTELS/ENTRY TO MONUMENTS, FARMS, RESORTS ETC) based on the period of travel and to submit the FINAL ITINERARY.

2. As the availability and pricing keeps on changing for flights/train dynamically we request your good self to make sure to collect the full amount of train fare and 25% of the airfare within 24 hours as soon as a trip is confirmed from the students which is nonrefundable and handover the same amount to Crazy Holidays marketing executive so that we can go ahead with the booking of flight/train on immediate hours.

CHECK IN/OUT POLICY: 

Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same. For guaranteed early check in or late checkout, the hotel(s) should be booked at the time of package booking by paying additional amount charged by the hotel.
