This journey is not just a trip—it’s an immersive learning adventure across Karnataka’s spiritual, historical, ecological, and coastal wonders. Students explore breathtaking landscapes, heritage marvels, and real-life science encounters—developing creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

DAY 01: BANGALORE – CHIKKAMAGALURU

  • Learning Focus: Introduction to Indian spiritual history, significance of non-violence in Jainism.
  • Activity: “Drawing/Sketch challenge” of Bahubali statue with fun facts worksheet.
  • What to Carry: Sketchbook or drawing pad A4 or A3 size, Pencils, Eraser and sharpener, Color pencils/crayons (optional), Clipboard or hard surface board to support sketching

  • Activity: “If Stones Could Speak”- Students observe temple carvings and imagine the stories they tell, then write or share a short narrative giving voice to the ancient stones.
  • What to Carry: Notebook, Pens/pencils, Clipboards

3:45 PM - Visit Yagachi Dam (ENJOY WATER SPORTS @ OWN EXPENSE  )

  • Learning Focus: Physical coordination and fitness, Overcoming fear and building confidence, Teamwork and communication through shared adventure.
  • Activity: “Splash & Learn”- Students participate in exciting water sports at Yagachi Dam, promoting physical activity and team spirit in a safe, supervised environment.
  • What to Carry: Extra pair of clothes, towel, waterproof bag, flip-flops or sandals, water bottle.

DAY 02: MULLAYANAGIRI – MALPE

08:00 AM - Check Out and Proceed to Baba Budangiri by Jeep

09:00 AM - Visit Baba Budan Giri and Trek to Manikyadhara Falls ( if weather permit ) Refreshments and juice will be provided.

  • Learning Focus: Nature observation, local legends, teamwork
  • Activity: “Mystery of the Misty Hills”- During the trek, students go on a fun Nature Clue Hunt, spotting leaves, bird sounds, and rock shapes. At the falls, they do a quick Story & Sketch activity—drawing what inspired them and sharing one observation.

02:00 PM - Visit Coffee Museum and Shopping in Chikmagalur

  • Learning Focus: Linking local culture with global context
  • Activity: “Coffee Journey Sketch & Story”- During or after the museum tour, students create a two-page spread in their notebook:

Page 1 – Draw the journey of a coffee bean:
From plantation → harvesting → drying → roasting → grinding → brewing.
(Use arrows, labels, and simple sketches.)

Page 2 – Write a short story from the point of view of a coffee bean—
“My name is Beaney, and I began my journey in the hills of Chikmagalur…”

  • Activity: “Draw & Describe – Island Rocks”:

Sketch the unique basalt rock columns in their notebook.

Write 3 lines explaining how they were formed by cooling lava.

List 2 living things (birds, shells, plants) they observed.

01:30 PM - Departure to Karwar via Manipal Museum of Anatomy & Pathology

  • Learning Focus: Human anatomy, organ function, science vocabulary.
  • Activity: Know Your Body – Sketch & Understand- At the Manipal Museum of Anatomy & Pathology, students will observe real human organ specimens. Each student will sketch one organ, label three key parts, and write two lines about its function. This helps them connect classroom learning with real anatomy and improves observation and scientific writing skills.

DAY 04: KARWAR- BANGALORE

07:00 AM - Visit Om Beach

  • Learning Focus: Geography of coastal regions, human impact on marine ecosystems, and the importance of sustainability in protecting our environment.
  • Activity: "Eco-Warrior Beach Cleanup & Sustainability Circle"- Students participate in a guided beach cleanup drive, collecting litter while learning about ocean pollution and the role of individual action.  Followed by a Sorting & Recycling Demonstration, where students categorize collected waste and understand the basics of recycling.  End with a short "Sustainability Circle" discussion, where students share ecofriendly habits, they can adopt in daily life. Each student receives an Eco-Warrior certificate for their participation.

02:00 PM - Visit NS Chapal (K94) Warship Museum

  • Learning Focus: Indian Navy, defense awareness, observational drawing, patriotism.
  • Activity: Warship Walkthrough – Draw & Discover
    At the NS Chapal (K94) Warship Museum in Karwar, students will explore the decommissioned warship and observe key sections like the control room, weapons deck, and radar equipment. After the tour, they will sketch the side view of the ship in their notebook and label 3–4 main parts. They will also write 2–3 lines about the role of the navy in protecting our country. This activity blends history, national pride, and visual learning.
  • What to carry: Notebook, pen/pencil

03:00 PM - Visit Karwar Beach

  • Learning Focus: Coastal science, natural patterns, observation, and creative thinking.
  • Activity: Sand Patterns – Nature’s Art & Science
    At Karwar Beach, students will observe natural patterns created by waves, shells, and wind on the sand. They will then draw one pattern they find interesting in their notebook and write a few lines explaining how it was formed (e.g., by water movement, shells, or footprints). This activity encourages awareness of natural forces and develops observation and artistic expression.

DAY 05:  BANGALORE

As we arrive back in Bangalore, our hearts are full of memories and our minds overflow with stories waiting to be shared. Though this magical journey comes to an end, the friendships made, lessons learned, and experiences gathered will stay with us for a lifetime.

Step 3: Once the list of registered students is finalized, Crazy Holidays will schedule the pre-departure meeting with the school.

Step 4: During the pre-departure meeting, complete awareness about the tour will be provided to both students and parents, including project specifications, what to carry and details about the “Track My Tour” feature.

To ensure a secure and informative experience for parents, we are offering the "Track My Tour" facility, which allows parents to view photos, videos, and live bus tracking of your children during the trip.

NB: Please note that we will only take group photographs, which will be verified by our backend team before uploading and could be viewed only by school & parents by using a secure code. A copy of the group photographs will also be shared with the school as a memento.

CHECK IN/OUT POLICY:

Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same. For guaranteed early check in or late checkout, the hotel(s) should be booked at the time of package booking by paying additional amount charged by the hotel.
