Introduction to the Program

This 4-day immersive program blends ecology, heritage, spirituality, adventure, and reflection. Students explore the Western Ghats, coastal Karnataka, and historical landmarks while engaging in creative and scientific activities. Each day encourages hands-on learning through storytelling, sketching, journaling, and critical thinking tasks.

Kallathigiri Falls

  • Learning Focus: Sensory writing, observation skills
  • Activity: “Waterfall Wonders”- Students sit quietly and observe the waterfall for 5 minutes. Then, in their notebook, they write a short descriptive paragraph using their five senses (what they see, hear, smell, feel).
  • What to Carry: Notebook , pen & pencil

 Z Point

  • Learning Focus: Emotional expression, perspective building
  • Activity: “Top of the World Reflection”-  After reaching the viewpoint, students write a personal reflection titled: “From Here, I Can See…” describing the scenery and their feelings.

 Krishnarajendra Botanical Park

  • Learning Focus: Observation, natural science, artistic expression
  • Activity: “Leaf Sketch & Note”-  Students select one plant, draw its leaf or flower, and write 3 interesting things they observe (color, size, smell, etc.).
  • What to Carry: Notebook , pen & pencil

 Rock Garden

  • Learning Focus: Creative writing, imagination, storytelling
  • Activity: “Rock Talks”- Students choose a unique rock or sculpture and write a short story or dialogue imagining what that rock would say if it could talk.

  • Learning Focus: Geography of coastal regions, human impact on marine ecosystems, and the importance of sustainability in protecting our environment.
  • Activity: "Eco-Warrior Beach Cleanup & Sustainability Circle"- Students participate in a guided beach cleanup drive, collecting litter while learning about ocean pollution and the role of individual action. o Followed by a Sorting & Recycling Demonstration, where students categorize collected waste and understand the basics of recycling. o End with a short "Sustainability Circle" discussion, where students share ecofriendly habits, they can adopt in daily life. Each student receives an Eco-Warrior certificate for their participation.

DAY 3: UDUPI - ST. MARY'S ISLAND - MANGALORE

06:00 AM: Visit Udupi Shri Krishna Temple

  • Learning Focus: Understanding Indian spiritual heritage, temple traditions, and moral values from mythology aligned with value education in their curriculum.
  • Activity:  Divine Designs & Krishna's Teachings- Students will observe the temple architecture, draw the chariot or sanctum design in their notebooks, and write a short paragraph on the values and teachings of Lord Krishna, especially focusing on devotion, duty, and kindness.
  • What to Carry: Notebook, pen, pencil, and colors (optional for drawing).

  • Learning Focus: Building awareness about island ecosystems and conservation
  • Activity: Island Explorers: Rocks, Shells & Stories- Students will explore the unique geological features of St. Mary’s Island, observe basaltic rock formations, and collect visual details of shells and coastal elements. Using their notebook, pen, and pencil, they will sketch the hexagonal rocks and list down three natural things they see, two sounds they hear, and one sensation they feel. This will be followed by a short creative writing exercise on “A Day on a Volcanic Island” and a reflection on how nature shapes landforms.

  • Learning Focus: Basic understanding of human anatomy and organ systems
  • Activity : Inside the Human Body: Observe, Learn & Reflect- Students will observe real anatomical specimens and medical models displayed in the museum, gaining insight into the human body’s internal structures and how diseases affect organs. Using their notebook, pen, and pencil, they will complete a guided worksheet where they draw one organ, note its function, and identify one pathology (disease) affecting it. A reflection section will prompt students to think about health, hygiene, and the importance of body awareness.

Using a structured observation sheet, they will record details like the animal’s name, habitat, food, and one interesting behavior. They will choose their favorite animal and sketch it in their notebook.:

They will be guided to notice the artistic details, themes from Biblical stories, and the role of art in communicating faith. Students will choose one fresco or painting and write a few lines describing what they see and what story they think it tells. They will sketch a small part of it in their notebook.

Step 2: After availability is confirmed and approved by the school, a payment circular will be forwarded. Optional facility An online presentation will be conducted for parents.

Step 3: Once the list of registered students is finalized, Crazy Holidays will schedule the pre-departure meeting with the school.

Step 4: During the pre-departure meeting, complete awareness about the tour will be provided to both students and parents, including project specifications, what to carry and details about the “Track My Tour” feature.

To ensure a secure and informative experience for parents, we are offering the "Track My Tour" facility, which allows you to view photos, videos, and live bus tracking of your children during the trip.

NB: Please note that we will only take group photographs, which will be verified by our backend team before uploading and could be viewed only by school & parents by using a secure code. A copy of the group photographs will also be shared with the school as a memento.

CHECK IN/OUT POLICY:

Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same. For guaranteed early check in or late checkout, the hotel(s) should be booked at the time of package booking by paying additional amount charged by the hotel.
