Program Overview

“Ambulance Helpers Come Fast to Help Me” is an engaging half-day experience that helps 5–6-year-olds understand who keeps us safe in emergencies. Through bus games, real ambulance exploration, and playful role-play, children learn what paramedics do, when to call 112, and how to make safe choices. The tour builds confidence, empathy, and emotional awareness, turning a potentially scary topic into a fun, empowering adventure.

ATL Skills

Children strengthen Thinking, Social, Communication, Self-Management, and Research skills as they explore emergency helpers, practice safety responses, express feelings, engage in role-play, observe real equipment, follow routines, and respond confidently during guided emergency scenarios.

Learning Objectives

Children understand who ambulance helpers are, learn how emergencies are handled, recognize basic safety behaviours, express how they feel in urgent situations, develop calm responses, and practice responsible actions through hands-on demonstrations and guided role-play.

Learning Outcomes

Children identify ambulance helpers, name essential tools, remember the emergency number (112), follow safety rules, express feelings of fear, safety, and bravery, and demonstrate confidence and responsibility in emergency-awareness situations.
