“The Hearts & Paws Journey” is a gentle, emotionally rich day where 6–7-year-olds learn how feelings shape actions and how actions form habits. Through caring for animals, feeding tasks, quiet nature moments, and reflective sharing, children experience empathy, responsibility, and kindness in action. The tour transforms emotional learning into a meaningful, real-world practice grounded in compassion.
Children strengthen Thinking, Communication, Social, Self-Management, and Research skills as they understand emotions, explore animal behaviour, make caring choices, practise responsibility, collaborate with peers, and build positive habits through real-world experiences with animals.
Children identify emotions in themselves and animals, connect feelings to actions, understand how actions form habits, practise gentle and responsible behaviour, and develop empathy and environmental awareness through guided interaction with living beings.
Children name their emotions confidently, choose gentle actions with animals, demonstrate care-based habits, practise calmness and sharing, understand habit formation, and act responsibly towards nature and peers.
