Theme: “Little Hearts, Big Kindness – Learning with Animals”
Programme Type: Educational + Fun + Values-Based Learning
Venue: PRANI – The Pet Sanctuary, Bangalore
“This programme helps young children move from books to real life, from watching animals in pictures to caring for animals with kindness.”
This CBSE-aligned experiential learning programme is a joyful, safe, and deeply educational journey designed specially for young learners in Grades 1–3. Built on the CBSE–FLN framework and NEP 2020 pedagogy, the programme follows a structured Pre-Tour → On-Tour → Post-Tour learning model, ensuring that learning happens before, during, and after the visit.
At the heart of the programme is a guided educational tour at Prani – The Pet Sanctuary, where children interact with rescued animals under expert supervision. Through direct observation, gentle handling, guided questioning, and reflection, students develop a clear understanding of animal life, food habits, homes, and human responsibility towards living beings.
The programme seamlessly integrates:
EVS (Animals, food, shelter & care)
Language (listening, speaking, vocabulary)
Mathematics (counting & comparison)
Life Skills (empathy, patience, discipline)
Health & Hygiene education
Strong emphasis is laid on:
✅ Child safety and supervision (1:10 ratio, first aid, risk controls)
✅ Behavioural training and empathy development
✅ Hands-on experiential learning
✅ Reflection, assessment, and student portfolio documentation
✅ CBSE & SQAA inspection compliance
By the end of the programme, students will:
Confidently identify animals and their needs
Demonstrate kindness, responsibility, and patience
Speak in simple, clear sentences about their learning
Strengthen observation, counting, and recall skills
Connect classroom learning to real-life experiences
