“Little Naturalists” turns Big Barn Farm into a magical adventure where children feed animals, explore the landscape, ride safely, plant seeds, and discover how living things grow, connect, and thrive together..
Children develop Self-Management, Social, Communication, and Research skills by practising gentle hands, observing textures and movements, asking questions, feeding animals, planting seeds, and sharing reflections in structured group circles.
Children understand that living things need care, identify animals and plants, observe nature respectfully, practise safe movement around animals, and communicate discoveries confidently.
Children explain what animals need, feed cows safely, identify textures and colours, plant a seed they care for, interact gently with creatures, follow safety rules, and reflect on farm learning through drawing and discussion.
