Program Overview

“Little Naturalists” transforms Picket Fence Farm into an engaging, exploration-filled day where children feed animals, meet gentle creatures, explore colourful aviaries, create pottery, play team games, and discover how living things grow and interact with the world around them.”


ATL Skills

Children strengthen Self-Management, Social, Communication, Research, and Creative Thinking skills as they feed animals safely, observe textures and behaviours, explore bird features, make clay items, participate in team games, and share reflections.


Learning Objectives

Children identify animals and plants, observe simple life processes, practise gentle behaviour, explore sensory details in nature, and communicate ideas through discussion and creative expression.
