Program Overview

“Little Village Explorers” is an immersive cultural experience where Grade 2 learners step into a traditional village setting to discover how people lived, worked, played, and celebrated in earlier times. At Rangoli Gardens, children explore life-size village sculptures, observe tools and homes, engage with shadows and sculptures, and create simple clay artefacts inspired by village life. Through guided walks, creative challenges, role-play, and reflection, learners develop curiosity, historical awareness, and respect for community traditions, understanding how everyday village life tells powerful stories.

ATL Skills

Children strengthen Thinking, Research, Communication, Social, Self-Management, and Creative Thinking skills as they observe village scenes, compare past and present life, participate in creative expression, collaborate in group tasks, and reflect on cultural practices.
