Program Overview

This heritage learning experience at Rangoli Gardens engages students in discovering rural Karnataka life through observation, inquiry, storytelling, creative exploration and cultural immersion. Students explore how communities live, the traditions they follow, the work they do, and how heritage reflects history and identity. Through themed rotations, reflective dialogue, and expressive activities, students develop historical awareness, cultural appreciation, perspective understanding, and meaningful connections between past and present.


ATL Skills

Students develop Research, Critical Thinking, Communication and Collaboration skills through observation, inquiry tasks, structured exploration, heritage interpretation, reflective storytelling and meaningful experiential engagement.


Learning Objectives

Students understand historical context, cultural heritage, daily life in rural communities, how people live and work across time, and how cultural environments tell stories through structures, traditions, tools and community spaces.


Expected Learning Outcomes
