Duration: Half-Day Nature Exploration
Focus: Using our senses to observe animals, insects, weather, and natural patterns

Cambridge Curriculum Alignment:

Cambridge Primary Science (Stage 1):
• Identify common animals and insects
• Observe features of living things
• Recognise patterns in the natural world
• Use senses to make observations

Cambridge Primary English (Stage 1 – Speaking and Listening):
• Describe observations clearly
• Listen and respond to instructions
• Share simple findings

Cambridge Primary Art & Design (Stage 1):
• Observe colours and patterns
• Create drawings based on real-life observation
• Explore symmetry and natural forms

Program Overview

“Wild World Explorers” transforms Bannerghatta National Park into a structured outdoor learning laboratory. Students observe animal behaviour, investigate butterfly symmetry, explore movement and sound, and identify natural patterns in clouds and wind. The experience builds foundational scientific observation skills through guided inquiry and structured recording tasks.

Learning Objectives:

Students will:

• Identify different animals and insects
• Observe animal movement and behaviour
• Recognise colour patterns in butterflies
• Explore simple weather elements such as wind and clouds
• Record findings through drawing and verbal explanation
• Follow safety instructions in an outdoor setting

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the program, students will:

• Name at least three animals observed
• Describe one movement pattern
• Identify two colours seen in butterflies
• Recognise one cloud shape
• Complete a structured Mission Card
• Explain how their senses helped them observe
