“The Living Earth Experience” transforms Bhagya Lakshmi Farm into a structured scientific inquiry space. Students explore animal care, plant growth, compost and biogas systems, and living ecosystems. Through guided observation, safe interaction, questioning, and creative response, students develop foundational understanding of how living systems function and how humans support them responsibly.
Students will:
• Identify farm animals and crops
• Recognise that animals and plants need food, water, shelter, and care
• Observe basic processes such as composting and plant growth
• Compare features such as feathers, fur, leaves, and scales
• Communicate observations through speech and drawing
By the end of the program, students will:
• Name at least three animals and one plant
• State two needs of a living thing
• Explain in simple terms how compost or biogas helps farms
• Plant and label a seedling
• Demonstrate safe and respectful behaviour
• Share one structured reflection verbally
