Cambridge Primary Science (Stage 1):
• Identify basic body parts
• Understand that humans need food, water, and hygiene to stay healthy
• Recognise simple differences between healthy and unhealthy habits
Cambridge Primary English (Stage 1 – Speaking and Listening):
• Listen and respond appropriately
• Describe experiences using simple vocabulary
• Express feelings clearly
Cambridge Primary Art & Design (Stage 1):
• Represent real-life experiences through drawing
• Explore symbols such as medical tools and healthy habits
This structured health-awareness visit introduces students to doctors, nurses, and hospital environments in a calm, supportive way. Through guided observation, tool demonstrations, safety discussions, and role-play, students learn how medical helpers support wellbeing and how daily habits help keep their bodies healthy. The experience builds confidence, empathy, and responsible health behaviour.
Students will:
• Identify doctors and nurses as community helpers
• Recognise basic medical tools
• Name simple body parts
• Understand healthy habits such as handwashing and balanced eating
• Express feelings about visiting a hospital
By the end of the program, students will:
• Name at least one medical helper
• Identify two medical tools
• State one healthy habit
• Demonstrate safe behaviour in a medical setting
• Share one reflection about their visit
