AO1: Knowledge and Understanding
Identify animals, describe their needs, and explain their role within a farm system.
AO2: Enquiry and Observation
Observe animal behaviour, compare features, and respond to guided questions.
AO3: Participation and Collaboration
Work cooperatively during structured rotations and shared activities.
AO4: Communication and Reflection
Express understanding through discussion, explanation, and reflection.
This experiential programme allows learners to explore how farm systems function through direct interaction, observation, and collaborative engagement. Students investigate how animals depend on food, water, shelter, and human care.
Through feeding sessions, observation, creative modelling, and team-based challenges, learners develop foundational scientific understanding and responsible behaviour aligned with Cambridge Primary Stage 2 expectations.
