Focus: Identity, relationships, collaboration, responsibility and ethical participation
This experiential field programme introduces learners to identity, group dynamics, emotional awareness and responsible participation through structured physical and collaborative challenges in an outdoor setting.
Students explore how beliefs and values influence behaviour, how relationships shape group success, and how responsible choices strengthen communities.
The programme builds leadership capacity, empathy, resilience and cooperative decision-making in developmentally appropriate ways for Stage 6 learners.
Cambridge Primary Global Perspectives (Stage 6):
• Consider different perspectives within a group
• Explain how personal choices affect others
• Identify responsibilities within communities
• Suggest positive actions supported by reasoning
Cambridge Primary English (Stage 6):
• Participate effectively in collaborative discussions
• Express ideas clearly using reasons and examples
• Reflect in structured written formats
Cambridge Primary Physical Education (Stage 6):
• Demonstrate teamwork and fair participation
• Show resilience and self-control during challenges
Students explore how identity is shaped by beliefs and experiences; understand responsibility within teams; develop empathy; practise ethical decision-making; strengthen collaboration skills; and reflect on how behaviour affects group outcomes.
Students demonstrate empathy and respectful communication; explain how identity influences actions; collaborate effectively in team challenges; manage emotions during pressure situations; propose positive actions; and reflect thoughtfully on personal growth.
