Programme Overview

This Stage 9 field investigation examines how artistic traditions communicate cultural identity, preserve heritage and adapt across time.

Students move beyond appreciation to structured analysis by:

  • Interpreting symbolism and visual elements

  • Examining craftsmanship processes

  • Analysing continuity and transformation in traditional arts

  • Evaluating the role of artisans in sustaining cultural systems
