Theme: Exploring Stories Through Art

Venue: Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath
Duration: Half Day Educational Visit

Big Idea: Stories can be told through colours, pictures and shadows without using words

Program Overview

This experiential visit is designed for CBSE Grade 1 students to explore how colours, pictures and shadows can tell stories without words. Through guided observation, movement-based activities, discussion and drawing, students learn by seeing, thinking, speaking and creating in a real-world art environment.

The programme integrates English, Art Education and Environmental Studies in a structured and age-appropriate manner, building foundational skills in observation, communication, creativity and responsible behaviour. It supports experiential, competency-based learning in alignment with CBSE expectations and the vision of NEP 2020.
