 HIGH SCHOOL: Ladakh practice a policy of “basic and bare minimum “efforts are made to recycle an object and then reuse it as something else. LEARNING OBJECTIVE:

HALL OF FAME: Understanding about Indian Army memory. The Hall of Fame, located near the Leh Airfiled, is a museum constructed as well as maintained by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers who had lost their lives during the Indo-Pak wars.

SHANTI STUPA: Learning about Buddhist, religious, art and architecture. Shanti Stupa is one of the magnificent Tibetan structures. The architecture and the beauty of this place are unexplainable. It is a white-dome structure dedicated to Buddhism. It was constructed in the year 1991 by Japanese Buddhist, Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. The beauty of Shanti Stupa takes a level up at night, especially during the full moon night when it is naturally illuminated by the moonlight.

LEH PALACE: Study about Medieval Tibetan architecture and history. It was constructed by Tsewang Namgyal the founder of the Namgyal dynasty of Ladakh. Overlooking the Namgyal hill and the Leh town, the grand Leh Palace is an important center of the Buddhist religion as well as culture. In the Leh Palace, you can also spot a wonderful collection of royal jewelry, ceremonial dresses and crowns.

PANGONG LAKE: Understanding about Natural resources and uniqueness for the lake. The famous and sparkling blue Pangong Lake is situated in the Himalayas, approximately at the height of 4350 meters. It is 124 km long and extends from India to Tibet.

  • HALL OF FAME  Spituk Monastery and Kali Mata Temple, Magnetic Hill,  Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and Confluence of Zanskar - Indus rivers. Return to Leh for lunch (on own). In the evening visit Leh Palace, Donkey Sanctuary and Shanti Stupa for beautiful sunset view
  • KALI MATA TEMPLE, MAGNETIC HILL -Defying the Law of gravity. This place is close to the Gurdwara Shri Patthar Sahib. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up-hill that’s the Believe it or not of Ladakh!
  • GURDWARA SHRI PATTHAR SAHIB - Situated 25 Miles From Leh, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib Stands At The Place Where Guru Nanak, The Founder Of Sikh Religion And The First Guru, Is Believed To Have Vanquished A Demon.
  • CONFLENCE OF THE ZANSKAR & INDUS - On way to Sham Valley before Nimu village one can have this magnificent view of two rivers in wedlock! In seasons they have different colors and flow and wildness.
  • LEH PALACE - The Palace overlooks Leh town and is modeled on the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. The palace was built by King Sengge Namgyal in the 17th century but was later abandoned when Dogra forces took control of Ladakh in the mid-19th century
  • SHANTI STUPA - Shanti Stupa/Japanese peace pagoda is built by a Japanese religious organization headed by Head monk Nakamura with the help from the organization and local people. It is situated at a hilltop in Cahngspa village providing a birds eye view of the Leh town and the surrounding mountain peaks.
