The petroglyphs etched into the cave walls open a gateway into humanity’s earliest expressions—stories of survival, communication, rituals, and civilization. Every carving becomes a reminder that long before modern technology, humans documented their world through art, symbols, and imagination.

Students witness how geography, hydrology, and engineering come together to support agriculture, energy production, and local livelihoods. Surrounded by scenic islands and mountain reflections, the dam becomes more than infrastructure—it becomes a lesson in how societies depend on responsible resource management.

03:30 PM – Visit Meenmutty Waterfalls (Approx. 12 km | 30 mins)

“Where the mountains pour life into the forests below.”

Descending through forest trails, students encounter one of Kerala’s most breathtaking waterfalls cascading through layered rock formations.

The thunder of falling water, cool mist, and dense greenery create an immersive experience that highlights the importance of freshwater ecosystems within the Western Ghats. The journey also reveals how forests, rainfall, rivers, and biodiversity are deeply interconnected in sustaining life across the region.
