Transfer to Wagah Border - The Wagah Border is a famous border crossing between India and Pakistan. It is situated near the Pakistani city of Lahore and the Indian city of Amritsar in the state of Punjab. It's just 3 kilometers away from Lahore, Pakistan. The border was established during the partition of India in 1947. The daily flag-lowering ceremony at the Wagah Border is one of the most famous and widely recognized border ceremonies in the world. The ceremony is conducted by the Border Security Force (BSF) of India and the Pakistan Rangers. The ceremony is characterized by aggressive posturing on both sides.
