KABINI WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE {1N-2D} BY BUS FOR GRADES 8 TO 12-293B

An Experiential Learning Expedition into Ecology, Conservation & Indigenous Wisdom

DAY 01-BANGALORE TO KABINI

Into the Heart of India’s Untamed Wilderness

06:00 AM – Departure from School, Bangalore (Approx. 220 km | 5.5 hrs)

As the city slowly fades behind, students begin a transformative journey into one of South India’s richest ecological landscapes — a region where forests, rivers, wildlife, and indigenous communities coexist in delicate balance.

07:30 AM – Breakfast En Route

A refreshing breakfast stop amidst the changing countryside offers students their first glimpse into rural Karnataka, where landscapes transition from urban energy to lush agricultural belts and forest corridors.

11:30 AM – Refreshment Break with Snacks & Juice

A short rejuvenating halt before entering the wilderness zone of Kabini, preparing students for an immersive learning experience surrounded by nature.

01:00 PM – Arrival at Kabini | Check-in Followed by Buffet Lunch

Nestled near the banks of the Kabini River and surrounded by dense forests, the resort environment introduces students to the rhythms of nature, silence, biodiversity, and mindful living.

02:00 PM – Leisure & Resort Exploration

Students experience the serenity of the natural landscape while observing how eco-sensitive hospitality and sustainable tourism practices function within fragile wildlife ecosystems.

03:30 PM – Evening Snacks & Juice

04:00 PM – Nature Walk & Tribal Interaction Programme (Approx.12 km | 25 mins from central Kabini zone)

“Where the forest whispers ancient wisdom through the lives of its first guardians.”

Step into a living classroom shaped by indigenous traditions, ecological intelligence, and generations of coexistence with nature. During this guided interaction, students explore how tribal communities have sustainably depended on forests for food, medicine, shelter, and culture without disturbing ecological balance.

As they walk through forest trails, observe native flora, and listen to stories rooted in survival and respect for nature, students begin to understand sustainability not as a modern concept, but as an ancient way of life practiced for centuries.

This immersive experience encourages reflection on humanity’s relationship with nature, responsible resource use, and the importance of preserving both biodiversity and cultural heritage.

07:30 PM – Traditional Karnataka Dinner Experience Followed by Campfire
(Subject to Weather Conditions)

“A taste of the land shaped by forests, rivers, and centuries of tradition.”

Students will enjoy an authentic Karnataka-style traditional dinner inspired by the culinary heritage of the Mysore–Kabini region. Prepared using local ingredients, regional spices, and traditional cooking styles, the meal offers a deeper understanding of how geography, climate, agriculture, and culture influence food traditions.

The evening campfire creates a warm atmosphere for storytelling, bonding, reflection, and shared experiences under the wilderness sky — transforming the journey into a memorable human connection with nature and community.

09:30 PM – Reflection Circle & Briefing for the Next Day

An interactive reflection session encourages students to share observations, insights, and moments of wonder from the day’s experiences, strengthening critical thinking, empathy, and environmental awareness.

Overnight Stay at Kabini

DAY 02 -KABINI TO BANGALORE

Understanding Conservation Through the Eyes of the Wild

06:00 AM – Wake Up & Freshen Up

06:30 AM – Kabini Jungle Safari Experience

“In the silence of the wild, every footprint tells a story of survival.”

As dawn breaks across the forests of Nagarhole–Kabini, students embark on an unforgettable wildlife safari through one of India’s most celebrated biodiversity zones.

Moving through mist-covered grasslands, forest trails, and riverbanks, students witness the delicate interconnectedness of ecosystems where predators, herbivores, birds, insects, and vegetation exist in ecological harmony.

The safari becomes more than wildlife spotting — it becomes a powerful lesson in conservation, adaptation, food chains, habitat protection, and ecological responsibility. Every sighting inspires curiosity about the fragile balance required to sustain life in the wild.

09:30 AM – Buffet Breakfast

11:00 AM – Check Out from Resort

11:30 AM – Departure to Bangalore (Approx. 220 km | 5.5 hrs)

As students journey back toward the city, the return becomes a moment of reflection — carrying forward lessons from forests, wildlife, and communities that thrive through coexistence rather than control.

11:45 AM – Snacks & Juice

12:00 PM – Lunch En Route

04:00 PM – Evening Refreshments with Snacks & Juice

05:30 PM – Arrival at School, Bangalore

Students return with more than memories of wildlife and adventure. They return with a renewed perspective on sustainability, conservation, coexistence, and humanity’s responsibility toward the natural world.
