Experiential learning tour from Bangalore to Wayanad and Kozhikode immerses students in nature, history, and science. Highlights include exploring ancient rock engravings at Edakkal Caves, trekking to Thusharagiri Waterfalls, observing ecosystems along Thamarassery Churam, relaxing at Kozhikode Beach, and visiting the Banasura Sagar Dam and Uravu Bamboo Centre. The journey combines fun, discovery, and curriculum-linked learning, fostering environmental awareness, critical thinking, and creativity while helping students connect classroom concepts with real-world experiences.

 

Introduction to the Program

This programme takes students beyond the classroom into the lush landscapes of Wayanad and the coastal charm of Kozhikode. Designed for Grades 8–12, the itinerary combines ecological exploration, cultural immersion, and sustainable development learning. Students engage with prehistoric sites, river systems, waterfalls, and artisan communities—experiencing science, history, and geography in action.

10:30 AM: TREKKING @ THUSHARAGIRI & Visit THUSHARAGIRI WATERFALLS

  • Learning Focus: Discover how forests and waterfalls help keep nature clean and cool.
  • Activity: “Waterfall Explorer Card” – Draw the waterfall and write how water helps animals and people.
  • What to Carry: Light towel, comfortable shoes, change of clothes, notebook, water bottle, cap, insect repellent.

02:00 PM: Enjoy KOZHIKODE BEACH

  • Learning Focus: Geography of coastal regions, human impact on marine ecosystems, and the importance of sustainability in protecting our environment.
  • Activity: "Eco-Warrior Beach Cleanup & Sustainability Circle"- Students participate in a guided beach cleanup drive, collecting litter while learning about ocean pollution and the role of individual action. o Followed by a Sorting & Recycling Demonstration, where students categorize collected waste and understand the basics of recycling. o End with a short "Sustainability Circle" discussion, where students share ecofriendly habits, they can adopt in daily life. Each student receives an Eco-Warrior certificate for their participation.
  • What to Carry: Notebook, pencil/pen.

To ensure a secure and informative experience for parents, we are offering the "Track My Tour" facility, which allows parents to view photos, videos, and live bus tracking of your children during the trip.

NB: Please note that we will only take group photographs, which will be verified by our backend team before uploading and could be viewed only by school & parents by using a secure code. A copy of the group photographs will also be shared with the school as a memento.

As the availability and pricing keeps on changing for flights/train dynamically we request your good self to make sure to collect the full amount of train fare and 25% of the airfare within 24 hours as soon as a trip is confirmed from the students which is nonrefundable and handover the same amount to Crazy Holidays marketing executive so that we can go ahead with the booking of flight/train on immediate hours.

CHECK IN/OUT POLICY: 

Standard check in and checkout time of most of the hotels are 12:00 noon. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability. We will try to give as many rooms as possible for early check in or late checkout but we don’t promise to give all the rooms for the same. For guaranteed early check in or late checkout, the hotel(s) should be booked at the time of package booking by paying additional amount charged by the hotel.
