Venue: Fire Station
Duration: Half Day Educational Visit
Big Idea
Stories can be told through colours, pictures and shadows without using words
This experiential visit is designed for CBSE Grade 1 students to explore how colours, pictures and shadows can tell stories without words. Through guided observation, movement-based activities, discussion and drawing, students learn by seeing, thinking, speaking and creating in a real-world environment.
The programme encourages children to observe their surroundings closely, connect ideas, and express themselves using simple words, actions and drawings. Students engage in interactive and hands-on tasks such as identifying colours and shapes, observing visual elements, exploring light and shadow, and creating their own simple story representations.
The programme integrates English, Art Education and Environmental Studies in a structured and age-appropriate manner, building foundational skills in observation, communication, creativity and responsible behaviour. It supports experiential, competency-based learning in alignment with CBSE expectations and the vision of NEP 2020.
