Theme: Community Helpers – Learning About Police and Safety

Venue: Police Station
Duration: Half Day Educational Visit

Big Idea

People in our community help us stay safe by following rules and using special tools.

Program Overview

This experiential visit is designed for CBSE Grade 1 students to understand the role of police officers as real-life helpers in their community. Through observation, role play, interactive games and guided discussions, students explore how safety rules, tools and responsible actions help maintain order and protection in everyday life.

Students actively engage in listening, speaking, movement and decision-making activities that build awareness about safety, responsibility and respectful behaviour. The programme encourages curiosity, student voice and hands-on participation in a structured, age-appropriate environment.

The learning experience integrates English, Environmental Studies and foundational numeracy through real-world connections. It promotes observation, communication, reasoning and social-emotional learning while aligning with CBSE competency-based education and the vision of NEP 2020.
