INTRODUCTION TO THE PROGRAM: This one-day experiential learning program invites students to explore the architectural brilliance and cultural richness of Karnataka through the magnificent Hoysala temples of Belur and Halebidu. Blending history with recreation, the program also includes a refreshing visit to Yagachi Dam, offering a balanced experience of heritage learning and outdoor engagement.

OBJECTIVE: To deepen students’ understanding of Hoysala architecture and medieval South Indian history, while encouraging appreciation for art, culture, and heritage conservation. The program also promotes teamwork, reflection, and recreational engagement through structured activities.

01:30 PM – Visit Hoysaleswara Temple, Halebidu: Discover the grandeur of this twin temple complex with detailed carvings from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, along with insights into ancient engineering and water systems.

03:30 PM – Visit Yagachi Dam: Unwind amidst scenic surroundings. Students may opt for water sports activities (at own expense) under supervision.
