Pondicherry transforms into a living classroom where students explore culture, sustainability, heritage, architecture, spirituality and coastal life. Through Auroville, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, French Town, Rock Beach and the Pondicherry Museum, students experience diverse perspectives, connect history with everyday life, and return with deeper curiosity, reflection, cultural understanding and real-world awareness.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
OUR LEARNING FRAMEWORK
At Crazy Holidays, we believe learning happens best when students experience, reflect, and apply.
We don’t organize trips. We design curriculum-connected learning journeys that build:
HOW WE DELIVER OUTCOMES

DAY 01: BANGALORE → PONDICHERRY
THE JOURNEY BEGINS | TRAVEL AS THE FIRST CLASSROOM
07:00 PM – Report at Yesvantpur Railway Station
08:45 PM – Departure for Pondicherry
“Every meaningful journey begins before we reach the destination.”
The programme begins at the railway station, where the familiar rhythm of school life gives way to a journey into a different landscape. As the train moves south, students begin experiencing travel itself as part of the programme — observing changing landscapes, sharing conversations and gradually entering the world they are about to explore.
09:30 PM – Overnight Train Journey to Pondicherry
Overnight Stay

DAY 02: PONDICHERRY
CULTURE • SUSTAINABILITY • HERITAGE
FROM AN EXPERIMENT IN HUMAN UNITY TO A CITY OF LIVING HERITAGE
07:30 AM – Arrival at Puducherry Railway Station
08:00 AM – Proceed for Breakfast
08:30 AM – Breakfast
09:30 AM – Proceed to Auroville
10:30 AM – Auroville | Outside View Experience
“Where an idea of human unity meets the realities of sustainable living.”
The journey enters Auroville — a community conceived as an experiment in human unity and an alternative way of living. Students encounter a place where architecture, environment, community and philosophy intersect.
Rather than simply seeing a destination, they begin to consider a larger question: What happens when an entire community is designed around an idea?
Auroville is geographically about 10 km from Puducherry, according to Auroville’s own information.
12:00 PM – Lunch
01:00 PM – Hotel Check-in
02:30 PM – Proceed to Sri Aurobindo Ashram
03:00 PM – Visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram
“Where silence becomes a language of transformation.”
After encountering Auroville’s outward experiment in community living, the journey turns inward.
The Ashram offers a contrasting experience — one centred on stillness, discipline, inner awareness and reflection. Students move from observing how communities are built to considering how individuals shape themselves through thought, discipline and conscious living.
The Ashram’s main building is open to visitors during designated morning and afternoon hours.
04:00 PM – Visit French Town
“Where French heritage meets the unmistakable character of Pondicherry.”
The streets now become the classroom.
French-inspired buildings, quiet lanes and distinctive urban spaces reveal how history can remain visible long after political boundaries have changed. Students experience Pondicherry not as a collection of monuments, but as a city where cultures have layered themselves into architecture, streets and everyday life.
The French Quarter is only a short distance from the Ashram, reflecting the compact heritage core of central Pondicherry.
04:30 PM – Snacks & Juice
05:30 PM – Rock Beach & Shopping
06:30 PM – Return to Hotel
07:30 PM – Dinner
08:15 PM – Debriefing & Briefing for the Next Day
10:00 PM – Lights Out
Overnight Stay: Hotel in Pondicherry

DAY 03: PONDICHERRY
DISCOVER • EXPLORE • CONNECT
FROM THE RHYTHM OF THE SEA TO THE MEMORY OF A CITY
06:00 AM – Early Morning Beach Visit
“The day begins where the land meets the sea.”
Before the city becomes busy, students encounter Pondicherry in its quietest form. The morning coastline offers a different perspective of the destination — one shaped by light, sound, movement and the presence of the sea.
The experience creates a natural transition from the previous day's exploration of community, consciousness and culture to the relationship between people, place and environment.
08:30 AM – Return to Hotel & Freshen Up
09:00 AM – Breakfast
11:00 AM – Hotel Check-out
12:00 PM – Lunch
01:00 PM – Proceed to Pondicherry Museum
02:00 PM – Visit Pondicherry Museum
“History comes alive through the objects and stories left behind.”
The journey now turns towards memory.
Within the museum, students encounter objects that carry fragments of Pondicherry’s past — revealing connections between archaeology, art, trade, culture and the region's changing identity.
The experience encourages students to see museums differently: not as rooms filled with old objects, but as places where objects become evidence of human stories.
The Pondicherry Museum is located close to Rock Beach in the White Town area.
04:00 PM – Shopping & Leisure Time
07:00 PM – Early Dinner
